Job Summary: 

The Facilities Manager will have strategic oversight and daily management of property infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, facilities optimization, sustainability initiatives, and vendor management, all aligned to the organization's operational excellence and corporate objectives. 

 

Job Description: 

  • Oversee all facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and building projects.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime and asset longevity (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities).
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and food safety regulations.
  • Manage third-party service providers, contracts, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead property leasing, space management, and acquisition efforts to support the orgnaisation's growth.
  • Drive energy-efficient and sustainable practices across facilities and projects.
  • Apply technical expertise in the design, construction, commissioning, and upgrades of facilities, ensuring alignment with brand and technical standards.
  • Conduct technical reviews, assess innovations, and integrate complex systems.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with the organisation policies, HSE, food safety, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and manage SOPs and documentation for Facilities processes.
  • Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Address stakeholder concerns constructively, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Perform physical inspections of project sites as needed.
 


Qualification and Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in facilities management, project management, engineering, or construction.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and facility upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Technologically proficient with relevant software platforms.
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership role with experience motivating diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, analytical problem-solving approach.
  • Physically able to conduct on-site inspections, including walking, climbing, and exposure to construction environments.
