Financial Controller needed for a growing manufacturing business. Lead finance operations, reporting, and analysis while partnering with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions across pricing, risk, and growth. Ideal for a commercially minded leader with ERP and strong influence skills.
A well-established and growing manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a strong and commercially minded Financial Controller to lead and strengthen its finance function.
About the Role
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the full finance function while partnering closely with the Managing Director and Board to drive performance, improve financial visibility, and strengthen accountability across the business.
Beyond core finance leadership, this role plays a critical part in providing strategic decision support, ensuring the business is guided by sound financial insight across key areas such as pricing, commercial and trade decisions, risk management, and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full finance function, including accounting, reporting, and analysis
- Provide leadership and direction across a multi-functional finance team
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
- Provide strategic financial insight to support business and operational decisions
- Support and advise on pricing strategies, commercial and trade decisions, and business performance initiatives
- Contribute to risk management, investment decisions, and potential growth or expansion opportunities
- Support innovation and transformation initiatives, ensuring financial alignment and discipline
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and accountability across the function
- Analyze financial performance and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Drive clarity and discipline in financial and operational decision-making
- Partner with senior leadership to improve financial processes and outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
- ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Strong experience in:
- Financial planning and analysis
- Cash flow management
- Cost accounting
- Financial reporting and controls
- Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred
- Strong experience using ERP systems to support financial reporting and analysis
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Solid understanding of IFRS
