The AC Hotel, Kingston Jamaica is seeking to hire a Engineering Technician to join the team.
Engineering Technician
The incumbent will be responsible for all engineering functions assigned to ensure the Hotel achieves its mission, vision, and targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Respond and attend to guests' repair requests.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Display advanced ability to read standard blueprints and electrical schematics concerning plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a Hospitality environment.
Specific Skills and Competence Required:
- Effective communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time and stress management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications.
