Employee Relations Officer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Employee Relations Officer to strengthen our HR team and support our growing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters across the organization.

  • Investigate and resolve workplace complaints, grievances, and disciplinary issues in accordance with Jamaican labour laws and company policies.

  • Support and guide line managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

  • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.

  • Conduct exit interviews and provide analytical insights on trends.

  • Coordinate employee engagement activities to support a positive workplace culture.

  • Maintain accurate records related to investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.

  • Contribute to policy development and HR compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in HR with a focus on employee relations.

  • Strong knowledge of the Jamaican Labour Code and employment legislation.

  • Excellent interpersonal, investigative, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
