Salary range: TTD$5,500.00 to $10,000.00

Location: Vistabella, San Fernando

 Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electronic security systems, including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.
• Conduct site surveys and assess client needs to propose appropriate security solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security systems with other building systems.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronic security technology and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our product offerings.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements in all aspects of system design and implementation.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Three years or more of experience in similar field. (Mandatory)

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices. (Mandatory)
• Familiarity with electronic security systems, including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems. (Asset)

• Proficiency in using relevant software tools for system design and simulation.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. (Mandatory)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. (Mandatory)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. (Mandatory)
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism. (Mandatory)
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written. (Mandatory)
• Valid driver’s license. And five (5) years of driving experience. (Asset)
• Ability to work varied hours/days including evenings and/or weekends. (Mandatory)
• Certificate of Character (Mandatory)
• Medical Fit for Work (Mandatory)
• Ability to drive Manual/Heavy T (Asset)

 

Note there are two levels to this position based on experience.

Senior Electronic Security Technician salary range - $7,500.00 to $10,000.00

Junior Electronic Security Technician salary range - $5,500.00 to $6,500.00
