About the role: 

The Electrical Supervisor will oversee the installation, wiring and commissioning of solar panels across cell sites in Jamaica. This includes supervising crews, meeting program schedule, managing work packages, stock control, quality checks, overseeing testing, and ensuring successful handover to clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate assigned electrical work packages from mobilisation through to client handover.
• Supervise field crews to ensure jobs are delivered safely on time, and to required quality standards.
• Meet project deadlines and targets
• Manage materials and stock allocation for assigned projects.
• Conduct quality assurance and oversee electrical testing to confirm works meet client and regulatory standards.
• Ensure accurate completion of job documentation and timely submission of reports.
• Act as primary point of contact with project management for progress updates and issue resolution.
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce compliance with HSE policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Proven experience supervising electrical and/or solar projects
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Full, clean driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work shifts and out of hours On-Call in line with business requirements.
• Police clearance certificate required prior to start.
• Must successfully pass a 7-panel drug test on hiring.
