Electrical Engineer

Responsible for leading electrical engineering activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Oversees electrical systems, maintenance, and projects while ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously assess electrical maintenance programs to ensure optimum performance and minimal downtime of all electrical systems and equipment.
• Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and recommend engineering strategies, policies, and initiatives to sustain desired reliability levels across plant operations.
• Optimize human, physical, and capital resources to achieve plant objectives while ensuring cost efficiency.
• Ensure all electrical systems and operations comply with statutory, industry, regulatory, and food safety (GMP/FSSC 22000) requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and modifications.
• Lead the development of CAPEX proposals, business cases, and technical studies to support engineering projects.
• Supervise the execution of capital projects and upgrades, ensuring adherence to design standards, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with external contractors, vendors, and OEMs to ensure all works meet specification, safety, and performance standards.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise to Operations, Maintenance, and Projects teams.
• Support plant audits, inspections, and the timely closure of corrective actions.
• Drive innovation through the evaluation of new technologies and automation solutions.
• Mentor and coach technical team members, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
