Education Officer – Mathematics

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Education Officer – Mathematics to lead the development and implementation of mathematics curriculum across Bermuda’s public schools. This role will support teachers, strengthen instructional practices, and ensure students benefit from high quality mathematics programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of mathematics curriculum across grade levels
• Oversee mathematics assessments and analyse student performance data
• Provide guidance to school leaders and teachers on instructional practices
• Deliver professional development in mathematics education
• Conduct research and recommend curriculum and assessment improvements
• Collaborate with Ministry staff and schools to support mathematics initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master's degree in mathematics or a related field
• Coursework in curriculum development, assessment, or educational administration
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience in mathematics
• Minimum 3 years administrative or leadership experience
• Strong communication, analytical, and instructional leadership skills
