Driver/Warehouse Attendant

 1. OBJECTIVES AND GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION: 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Delivery & Collection Operations

• Deliver and collect packages, labels, and related materials to and from local customers on a daily basis.
• Collect cheques from customers on behalf of the Label House Group of Companies and ensure secure handling.
• Collect supplies required for daily operations at LHGL as needed.

Documentation & Accountability

• Ensure all delivery and collection documentation is accurate, complete, and properly submitted.

Vehicle Operation & Maintenance

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure assigned vehicles are properly maintained and kept in good working condition.

Compliance, Safety & Quality

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations governing Trinidad and Tobago.
• Perform duties in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety, Quality, and Food Safety policies and procedures.

Operational Support & Teamwork

• Assist within the department as required to support the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
• Participate in cross-training initiatives and assist in training other employees when required.

Housekeeping & General Duties

• Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times.

Warehouse Operations

• Assist with receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming goods, materials, and supplies against delivery documentation.
• Support the picking, packing, and preparation of branding materials, labels, and finished goods for dispatch.
• Ensure items are stored correctly, labelled accurately, and handled in accordance with quality and food safety requirements where applicable.
• Assist with basic inventory checks, stock counts, and reporting of discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse storage areas, loading bays, and workspaces.
• Assist with loading and securing goods onto company vehicles to ensure safe transportation.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
