• Processing of sales orders, customer requests and work-related reports
• Compliance with policies, procedures and controls
• Any other work-related duties required
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Answer all incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel
Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with contacting customers when sales representatives are on vacation or otherwise unavailable
Attend to walk-in customers and ensure company procedures are followed
For phone and email orders, inform customers of current deals, promotions, out-of-stock items, short expiry items and available substitute products
Ensure all processed orders are released for invoicing with the correct scheduled need-by dates
Generate proforma invoices for customers as required
Contact customers to confirm payments and delivery dates
Notify the Outbound Logistics department of confirmed payments, delivery changes, or other order-related updates
