Dispatcher

The Dispatcher will be responsible for the coordinating of activities related to the delivery of bulk feeds and the receiving and dispatching of raw and other materials.

The role of a Dispatcher is to coordinate activities related to the delivery of bulk feeds and the receiving and dispatching of raw and other materials.

They will primarily focus on:

• Placing bulk feed orders with the Production Department
• Assigning and scheduling all bulk deliveries, notifying relevant authorities of pertinent details
• Invoicing bulk deliveries
• Weighing all incoming and outgoing materials
• Tracking the movement of bulk trucks using the vehicle tracking system and report any suspicious activities to the Security & Compliance Coordinators and all malfunctions of the tracking systems or devices to the relevant authorities
• Informing the Security & Compliance Coordinator or Supervisor on duty on the intended destinations of all bulk truck deliveries.
  
• Tracking fuel usage for feed trucks and arrange regular maintenance of same
• Tracking toll usage by the bulk truck and maintain accounts as needed
• Keeping track of inventories of supplies, monitoring reorder levels.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least Diploma is Logistics or related field
  

• Competent in the use of spreadsheets and word processing applications
  

• Strong organizational abilities

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work with a diverse team
