Director of Operations

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

• Oversee day-to-day airport operations, including security, maintenance, and duty management.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with international best practices and safety standards.

 Strategic Planning & Execution:

• Lead operational planning for peak periods, emergency situations, and long-term growth.
• Drive operational readiness for infrastructure expansions or upgrades.
• Monitor KPIs and use data-driven insights to enhance performance, passenger experience, and operational resilience.

 Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all national and international aviation regulations, including ICAO, FAA, and local aviation authorities.
• Champion a culture of safety, security, and risk mitigation throughout airport operations.

 Team Leadership:

• Manage a diverse team of operations professionals, including security, maintenance etc.
• Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.

 Financial & Resource Management

•  Prepare and manage the department’s annual budget and approve expenditures.
• Oversee resource allocation to ensure efficient operations within financial constraints.

 Crisis & Risk Management

• Develop and implement crisis management plans for operational disruptions and emergencies.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the safety and continuity of airport operations.
