Job description:

 

 

 

Job Title: Direct Sales Agent (Field Sales) (Temporary to Permanent)

 

 

Primary objective of the job: 

 

Identify and pursue sales opportunities for the Digicel+ Product Portfolio to new customers, to enhance customers’ experience through up-selling and cross-selling to our existing customer base. Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales service to all clients by resolving customer complaints, queries and concerns. Liaise with other departments to ensure the fulfillment of end-to-end transactions.

           

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Achieve 100% Sales Target
  • Full compliance with the use of prescribed CRM tools for optimal business intelligence
  • Achieve the required amount of customer contacts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, to ensure that you can achieve your targets through your individual conversion rates
  • Sell the required mixture of Digicel’s products and services in line with the required targets
  • Accurately record all prospect information, sales appointments and conversations with customers and associated outcomes (failures and successes), in line with current reporting documents, to sales management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Accurately record customers’ orders and applications for products and services
  • Provide relevant information and responses to customers' concerns and questions in an honest and business-like manner
  • Be an external ambassador of Digicel and maintain a strict level of professionalism
  • Maintain and account for stock of devices
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions and product offerings
  • Canvass assigned territories to promote and sell products/services
  • Deliver sales presentations to prospective customers 

 

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of Three (3) CXC/CSEC subjects inclusive of English Language and a numerical subject (Accounts, Mathematics or Physics), or equivalent qualification
  • Must possess good computer skills and knowledge of the Internet and applications
  • Previous sales experience demonstrated success for a minimum of two (2) years
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment is an asset

Compensation Package/Benefits:

  • On Target Earnings: TTD$15,000.00 (Base Salary, Plus Commission)
  • Potential Earnings: Unlimited

  •  Required to travel out of town and overnight when necessary
  •  Ability to travel island wide/within an assigned zone
