Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the strategic coordination, execution and performance optimization of all digital and social media activities across ANSA Coatings’ brands, and business units. The role requires independent professional judgment and specialist digital marketing expertise to manage agency relationships, oversee paid and organic digital activity, develop performance KPIs, and ensure that all digital platforms effectively support brand, trade and commercial objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Digital & Social Media Strategy
- Coordinate and oversee the development of digital and social media content plans in alignment with the approved strategic marketing plan.
- Ensure consistent execution of brand positioning, messaging and visual identity across all digital platforms.
- Translate marketing objectives into actionable digital content and campaign plans.
Agency & Vendor Management
- Act as the primary liaison with all social media and digital agencies.
- Review, coordinate and approve content calendars, creative assets and campaign executions.
- Monitor agency performance against agreed deliverables, timelines, budgets and KPIs.
Paid Media & Campaign Management
- Plan, manage and optimise paid digital media activity, including social media boosting and advertising.
- Allocate and manage digital ad spend in line with approved budgets.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimise targeting, creative and spend to maximise ROI.
- Work with agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver effective digital campaign rollouts.
Performance Measurement & Analytics
- Develop and maintain KPIs for all brand, sector and corporate social media pages.
- Track and analyse performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, leads and conversions where applicable.
- Prepare monthly and campaign-specific digital performance reports with insights and recommendations.
Construction Sector Digital Channels
- Directly manage content for the ANSA Construction Sector social media pages (Facebook and LinkedIn).
- Source, curate and adapt content from all relevant ACL business units.
- Execute structured content plans that support sector visibility, product awareness and commercial objectives.
Automotive Digital Channels
- Manage the Automotivesocial media pages (Facebook and Instagram).
- Coordinate with Brand Specialists to source product, promotional and technical content.
- Ensure content calendars are clearly defined, approved and executed on schedule.
Website Management
- Manage and maintain the ANSA Coatings corporate website and brand websites (Berger, Sissons Penta, The Colour Shop).
- Ensure website content remains current, accurate and aligned with brand and campaign activity.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to enhance website usability, functionality and visual presentation.
- Support SEO best practices and monitor basic website analytics.
Digital Asset Development & Commercial Support
- Support the development of digital marketing assets for trade partners and the commercial team.
- Adapt and create digital content for campaigns, promotions, product launches and in-trade activity.
- Provide digital support materials to assist sales initiatives and customer engagement.
Brand Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all digital content adheres to brand guidelines, corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity across all platforms.
- Support alignment between Marketing, Sales and external partners.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, platform changes and emerging tools.
- Proactively recommend improvements to digital strategy, content formats and performance optimisation.
- Support additional marketing initiatives and projects as required.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a digital marketing or related specialist role.
- Proven experience managing corporate or brand social media platforms.
- Experience managing digital advertising budgets and campaign optimisation.
- Experience working across multiple brands or business units is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Hands-on experience managing paid digital advertising and boosting.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
- Experience managing external agencies and vendors.
- Content planning and coordination across multiple brands and sectors.
- Website and CMS management experience.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
