Developer, Power BI

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Developer, Power BI to join the Management Services Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of Power Platform application systems across test and production environments.

The position involves designing and supporting data visualisation, automation and system integration solutions, as well as troubleshooting application issues and contributing to ongoing platform improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain Power Platform solutions across production and test environments
• Build and support Power BI reporting and data visualisation solutions
• Develop low-code applications using Power Apps and workflow automation using Power Automate
• Integrate systems using connectors and support data flows across platforms
• Analyse and resolve application issues, including root cause analysis and escalation where required
• Support lifecycle management, version control, testing and controlled production releases
• Contribute across phases of the software development life cycle
• Produce technical documentation, handover material and support end users

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum five years’ experience in software development
• Minimum three years' experience in Power platform development
• Strong experience with Power BI, data visualisation and reporting
• Working knowledge of C#, SQL, .Net, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Dataverse
• Experience writing technical requirements and test documentation
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning
