Delivery Service and Dispatch Officer

The Delivery Service and Dispatch Officer, will be responsible for supporting the delivery process, assigning priorities and getting in place resources and vehicles according to the daily necessities of the business.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assigns delivery routes daily.
• Communicates with the Commercial team to confirm priority routes for the day.
• Liaises with the warehouse to ensure assigned routes are prepared and loaded accordingly.
• Coordinates the loading of trucks based on the assigned delivery routes.
• Ensures daily route optimization and provides feedback to Dispatch regarding inefficient routing or customer location issues.
• Reviews and verifies rejection reasons recorded in driver logbooks.
• Conducts daily trade visits to monitor execution and customer satisfaction.
• Accompanies delivery routes once per week for on-the-ground validation.
• Manages customer service interactions and conducts customer surveys.
• Ensures all customer complaints are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Validates the overall delivery process at trade to ensure service excellence.

• Sound knowledge of effective sales and delivery strategies
• Sound appreciation for safety and safety culture

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

• Bachelos Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field
• Full knowledge of Excel, formulas and pivot tables
• Great numerical ability
• Knowledge of the Annotto Bay Area, streets and roads
