Data Engineer

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to provide insights that support strategic decision-making. The role includes gathering data from multiple sources, identifying patterns and trends, and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and automate efficient data collection and transformation processes using tools such as SQL, Python, and ETL platforms
• Design, build, and maintain relational databases and data systems, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization
• Conduct data cleansing and quality assurance using Excel or specialized data-prep tools (e.g.,Power Query)
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, outliers, and actionable insights
• Structure and query large datasets to extract relevant information for specific business questions or challenges
• Develop and deliver reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools to support executive and operational decision-making
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define data needs and KPIs aligned with strategic objectives
• Maintain and enhance dynamic dashboards with visualizations such as charts, graphs, and tables for ongoing business monitoring
• Partner with department leads to uncover operational inefficiencies and recommend data-backed solutions
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and analytical needs from various departments

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or data engineering role
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis
• Demonstrated experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas) and strong general proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract meaning from complex datasets and translate it into actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based, cross-functional environment with diverse stakeholders
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, strong attention to detail, accuracy in analysis, reporting and documentation
• Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to evolving priorities or business needs as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
