SALARY SCALE: $6,641,033.65 - $7,609,552.15 per annum.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position creates and develops digital media, content, and collateral for the organization and its business segments to build brand presence, engage audiences, and deliver relatable visual communication. The role coordinates the development and placement of digital media assets and content for the organization’s digital and online platforms, including websites and social media. The role ensures that digital media content and visual assets are developed in alignment with organisational messaging and support the marketing and communications strategy and business objectives. The scope of responsibilities includes routine content creation and development for the Authority and its subsidiaries' websites and digital platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree, in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or its equivalent.
- Specialized training in social media is an asset.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ progressive experience in a Marketing and Communications function within a medium to large public or private sector entity, including at least three (3) years’ hands-on experience in digital content creation, social media management, and website content administration.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the timely development of digital assets, graphic elements, content and other production for calendar development and publication.
- Support the development of visual assets and digital media content for social media campaigns.
- Ensure effective storytelling and messaging through content development, graphic design and production, charts, graphs and infographics.
- Manage the engagement with content by followers and stakeholders, using social media tools to monitor campaigns, posts, and engagement to determine and measure effectiveness.
- Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network.
- Use research and consumer insights to determine current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Keep abreast of new digital and social media trends and best practices to guide and inform content development.
- Ensure timely reporting on achievement of objectives and reporting on Return on Investment (ROI).
- Coordinate the Authority’s, its subsidiaries and sub-brands' websites’ content management, including developing new content, editing existing content and removing/updating outdated content.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in visual communication techniques on websites and digital media based on user feedback and performance metrics.
- Create and maintain a site map to help users navigate the site easily and to assist with content management.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies that may be used in website development for the management of visual communication.
- Work with department heads and Information Systems (I.S.) Department to create a website design concept and content management tools for the designers/developers, with a final design that meets business objectives.
- Create content development strategies based on business objectives, category focus, and audience segments across all websites and social media channels.
- Create engaging content across all media through liaison with media agencies and graphics designers.
- Assist with the management of production of advertisements for traditional and social media marketing programs and campaigns.
- Monitor search engine optimisation (SEO) and web traffic metrics; analyse data obtained to inform decision-making, for content development and visual communication techniques.
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website rankings in search engine results pages, drive content and increase site traffic.
- Ensure content is compliant with intellectual property and data protection laws.
- Research key SEO terms and incorporate them into the content to achieve maximum viewership and visitor traffic.
- Assist with the maintenance of the content management system and other digital automation tools for PAJ’s website and digital platforms.
- Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the brand and corporate image.
- Identify stakeholders’ needs in relation to the company and develop content to cater to those needs.
- Manage and ensure proper storage of the Authority’s intellectual property, including logos, photos, and videos and its collateral promotional and marketing collateral, including banners, signs, and posters, etc.
- Coordinate the production of promotional material, including videos, booklets, posters, brochures, banners, and signage.
- Develop and maintain an effective archive and storage system for easy access and sharing with stakeholders.
- Respond, when directed, to requests for use of the Authority’s intellectual property in accordance with policy.
- Implement and manage an effective records system and bank for the digital bank and assets.
