Job Summary:
The Customer Service & Safety Officer serves as a visible and approachable presence at the assigned location, balancing front-line customer engagement with safety and security responsibilities. This role is ideal for individuals who are people-oriented, observant, and committed to ensuring that everyone on-site feels welcomed, informed, and safe at all times.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serving as the first point of contact for individuals on-site, providing a warm, professional welcome
Providing accurate information, directions, and general assistance to persons on the property
Responding promptly and courteously to inquiries, requests, and concerns
Maintaining a visible, approachable presence that promotes confidence and a sense of safety
Patrolling the property to ensure that safety and security policies and procedures are adhered to
Monitoring all access points and ensuring they remain secured at all times
Observing and reporting any suspicious activity or safety concerns to the Supervisor on shift
Maintaining clear and accurate logs of all occurrences and incidents
Assisting during emergency situations in a calm and composed manner
Notifying appropriate stakeholdersin the event of accidents, incidents, or other emergencies
Adhering to proper handover and takeover procedures at shift change

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior customer service or hospitality experience (an asset)
Security Training is a plus
