A Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, resolving complaints, and providing technical support related to hardware products such as tools, building supplies, and home improvement materials.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately in the system.
Provide product information, availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Offer technical support and guidance for hardware-related issues or product selections.
Resolve customer complaints by determining the cause of the issue, identifying solutions, and following up to ensure resolution.
Coordinate with internal departments (sales, logistics, inventory, etc.) to meet customer needs.
Maintain accurate customer records, documentation, and communications in CRM or order management systems.
Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies.
Assist in maintaining store displays or providing in-store support if in a retail setting.
May involve occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) and standing for extended periods if working in a retail or warehouse setting.
