Deliver outstanding customer service, contributing to the positive store culture by exercising courtesy, patience, respect and always displaying a pleasant manner.
Process customer payments and receipts accurately and efficiently and in accordance with established cash handling and operating procedures.
Verify the status of the customer account in order to adopt the correct procedure including the last payment date, if the customer is due for a discount, if it is a bailiff’s case.
Address customer queries and promote information to the customer on current merchandise, store promotions and events, credit and loyalty programmes, pricing and price changes during customer interactions to drive sales performance.
Assist with inventory and loss prevention processes through physical inventory counts, applying appropriate training and protocols to safeguard against theft and fraud.

Engage in prospecting and customer retention activities to drive sales; maintain sales transaction documentation accurately completing all relevant documents for sales, book clean sales to meet or exceed sales goals.
Perform any related duties as assigned from time to time by management.
Qualifications & Experience
Passes in CXC/O’ Level subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
Knowledge of operating standard office equipment e.g. calculators, adding machines, copier, scanner etc.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively, in both oral and written forms.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required
Excellent interpersonal skills particularly tact and patience.
Ability to work with figures quickly and accurately.
Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
Honest with a high level of integrity.
Ability to maintain a pleasant disposition when dealing with customers.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Availability to workdays, shifts, nights, weekends and peak periods.
