In this role, you’ll clean and sanitise dining areas, restrooms, kitchen zones, and outdoor spaces. You’ll wash dishes, manage trash and recycling, support events, and handle deep cleaning tasks weekly. You’ll work independently and alongside the team to keep things in check, especially during peak hours when speed and attention to detail count.

Clean and sanitise guest dining areas, restrooms, and service zones to health and safety standards
Wipe, sweep, mop, and disinfect indoor and outdoor surfaces during and after service.
Inspect bathrooms regularly, restock supplies, and address any issues immediately.
Empty and reline trash bins frequently, including indoor, outdoor, and kitchen waste
Wash and sanitise all kitchenware and utensils, restocking where needed.
Clean kitchen and BOH areas, including floors, drains, walls, food-safe storage areas and garbage areas
Complete cleaning of outdoor areas, including tables, seating, signs, and the parking lot
Perform deep cleaning duties (equipment, vents, behind fixtures, etc.) on schedule.
Support event setup and breakdown—including loading/unloading equipment and supplies
Report maintenance issues and complete minor repairs (light bulbs, loose fixtures, etc.)
Support the kitchen and front-of-house teams with spot cleaning or resets as needed.
All daily cleaning and deep-clean checklists are completed on time and signed off.
Kitchenware is washed, sanitised, and restocked without delay during service.
Bathrooms are clean, stocked, and odour-free throughout opening hours.
All trash and waste bins are emptied regularly—no overflows or pest risks.
Deep cleaning tasks are done weekly with zero missed assignments.
Outdoor areas are clean and guest-ready before doors open each day.
Custodial stations (dishwash and supply area) and supplies are well-maintained, organised, and in working order.
No health code or sanitation violations during inspections or internal audits.
Emergency issues (spills, broken fixtures, etc.) are reported and resolved promptly
You’re dependable, detail-oriented, and take quiet pride in doing things right.
Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or dishwashing roles preferred
Knowledge of cleaning supplies, chemical safety, and sanitation protocols
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and stay on your feet
Can handle indoor and outdoor cleaning in hot or rainy weather
Strong attention to detail—you notice the small things before anyone else
Follows systems, checklists, and routines without cutting corners
Can manage time effectively with little supervision
Works well independently and communicates clearly with the team
Can adapt quickly to messes, spills, or urgent cleaning tasks
A strong respect for health, hygiene, and creating a great environment
