Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Country Administrative Manager responsible for ensuring the overall administrative health of our Trinidad and Tobago business entity. This role ensures the smooth operation of business support functions. Working closely with global and enterprise teams, the Country Administrator serves as a local extension of corporate functions, assisting with vendor selection, contract review, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure management. This role also acts as the primary escalation point for non-operational matters and ensures that Client Operations is set up for success by maintaining a stable and well-supported business environment.

 

This pivotal role ensures that all local business support functions run smoothly, creating an environment where our client operations can thrive. You’ll be the local bridge between our global and enterprise teams, ensuring compliance, optimizing vendor relationships, managing infrastructure, and resolving non-operational challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with global teams to select, onboard, and manage third-party vendors (IT, legal, compliance, HR, facilities, finance, etc.).

  • Oversee vendor performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability meet corporate standards.

  • Review, assess, and provide recommendations on contracts, agreements, and legal documentation to ensure alignment with corporate policies and compliance with local regulations.

  • Maintain full compliance with all local regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with finance, purchasing, and other enterprise shared services to support budget adherence, cost management, and procurement processes.

  • Collaborate with the Global Facilities Director to manage local facilities, expansions, and business continuity plans.

  • Maintain responsibility for the broader business infrastructure (physical, legal, financial, and operational support structures) necessary for sustained success.

  • Act as the primary escalation point for non-operational issues impacting the Trinidad and Tobago entity.

  • Facilitate weekly cross-functional leadership meetings to align priorities and resolve challenges.

  • Coordinate the establishment and local management support of a Global Support Hub in the Trinidad and Tobago, providing infrastructure for global shared services teams.

  • Ensure facilities, technology, and workspace resources meet operational needs for finance, HR, IT, compliance, and more.

  • Support local hiring, onboarding, and administrative activities in partnership with HR and Talent Acquisition.

  • Manage office logistics, seating arrangements, and service coordination to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Act as the primary local liaison for corporate teams leveraging the hub, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with global objectives.

Qualifications

 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in administrative, operational, or infrastructure management roles.
  • Strong understanding of contract management, compliance, and vendor oversight.
  • Experience working with global organizations, coordinating between local and corporate teams.
  • Knowledge of Trinidad and Tobago regulatory requirements for business operations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in vendor and supplier management.
  • Strong background in contract review and compliance.
  • Knowledge of financial oversight and procurement support.
  • Experience in infrastructure and facility operations.
  • Proven ability to coordinate strategic initiatives and manage stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in issue resolution and cross-functional collaboration.
