Consumer, Channel & Customer Marketing (CCCM) Director

Location: Jamaica & Partnership Markets
Reports to: Senior Leadership


General Role Description

The CCCM Director leads JWN’s end‑to‑end demand engine across Jamaica and Partnership Markets. This includes brand strategy, communication, shopper conversion, customer activation, and innovation. The role integrates consumer insights, digital communication, channel/shopper marketing, experiential activations, and distributor development to deliver sustainable growth in line with Group priorities and the House of Brands.

Success is measured by NSV, market share, penetration, equity, and CAAP, with all plans insight‑driven, budget‑disciplined, and flawlessly executed in collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external partners.


Mission & Objectives

  • Position JWN as the benchmark in brand building, communication, experiential excellence, and customer engagement.
  • Lead integrated marketing strategies across consumer, channel, and customer for Jamaica and Partnership Markets.
  • Align brand, communication, shopper, and experiential plans with business goals and global guidelines.
  • Optimize A&P investment with strict budget control and ROI discipline.
  • Define long‑term brand trajectory, role, and positioning.
  • Build and inspire a high‑performance marketing organization across brand, digital, insights, shopper, and experiential functions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • NSV targets achieved or exceeded.
  • Positive trends in brand equity, awareness, penetration, and share.
  • Annual plans delivered on time with clear KPIs and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Activities executed on time, on budget, with learnings captured and applied.

Core Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Direction

  • Translate Group/House of Brands strategies into local, insight‑led plans.
  • Define annual integrated plans linking brand ambition, media/comms, shopper conversion, customer programs, and experiential activations.

2. Brand & Consumer Marketing

  • Approve brand strategies and annual brand plans.
  • Oversee A&P allocation to maximize ROI and deliver NSV and equity KPIs.

3. Communication, Digital, PR & Insights

  • Lead media, digital, and PR strategies.
  • Govern insights and analytics, embedding data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Manage agency ecosystem with clear deliverables and performance reviews.

4. Customer, Channel & Shopper Marketing

  • Set channel strategies (On‑Trade, Off‑Trade, Wholesale/Retail).
  • Ensure trade programs, POSM, and joint business plans convert demand at point of purchase.

5. Experiential Marketing

  • Lead consumer and trade events, bartender trainings, and brand activations.
  • Ensure ROI discipline and compliance in experiential A&P.

6. Partnership Markets

  • Define growth paths for priority markets.
  • Align distributor plans with brand priorities and global guidelines.

7. Budget & Investment Management

  • Lead A&P planning, monthly reviews, reallocations, and compliance.

8. Cross‑Functional & External Leadership

  • Align with Sales, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and House of Brands.
  • Represent JWN with agencies, distributors, and institutions.

9. People Leadership & Capability Building

  • Build and inspire a high‑performance marketing team.
  • Develop capabilities across brand, comms, shopper, insights, and experiential functions.

Qualifications & Competencies

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior marketing leadership in FMCG/alcohol with multi‑brand portfolio ownership.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong financial acumen (A&P, ROI, P&L impact).
  • Deep understanding of consumer, customer, and channel dynamics.
  • Proven expertise in brand building, communication, trade/shopper, and commercial collaboration.

Skills & Competencies

  • Visionary leadership with ability to synthesize insights, creativity, and commercial drivers.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong project management, disciplined planning, and performance tracking.
