Now hiring two Communications Officers (1 full-time, 1 temporary) to shape a global tourism brand. If you're a creative PR pro with sharp writing, media skills, and a passion for storytelling, this is your chance to make an impact. Apply by June 26, 2025.

Why this role?

We are storytellers—shaping how the world sees and connects with our brand, our people and our purpose. Our work drives awareness, builds meaningful engagement, and connects audiences to unforgettable experiences.

If you're a skilled communicator with a passion for storytelling and public relations, this is your stage.  We’re looking for two Communications Officers - one permanent and one temporary - to help shape and share our story, both locally and internationally. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a talent for building strong relationships, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As Communications Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our messaging - managing media relations, monitoring public sentiment and crafting compelling content. From drafting press releases and engaging stakeholders to supporting PR events and crisis response, your work will help drive visibility and confidence in our brand.

Your Day May Include:

Coordinating local and international media engagement
• Drafting crisp, clear press releases, media briefs and talking points
• Supporting crisis communications with timely, accurate updates
• Tracking media trends, coverage, and sentiment to identify risks and opportunities
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and stakeholders
• Collaborating on campaigns, events, and promotional activities
• Representing the organisation at press events, launches, and trade shows
• Preparing presentations and communication materials for both internal and external audiences

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has a Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field
• Brings at least 5 years’ experience in communications, public relations or media relations
• Writes with clarity, confidence, and a bit of flair
• Knows their way around a press release and a media kit
• Understands crisis comms and can keep cool under pressure
• Has a sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset

• Communicates effectively with diverse audiences
• Is collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Has working knowledge of the tourism/travel industry landscape (a plus!)
• Is familiar with media monitoring tools

Ready to apply?
If you're eager to bring your skills to a dynamic, purpose-driven role, we want to hear from you. Submit your CV via the Apply Now portal by June 26, 2025. Don’t wait—help shape the future of destination storytelling.
