Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Branch Administration team in the capacity of:
Client Service Representative – Mandeville
(Grade 3)
Deliver superior service and experience with every interaction to the company’s clients consistent with the objectives of the division.
Give prompt and accurate information; process financial transactions and policy changes speedily and accurately.
Location: Manchester
As a Client Service Representative, you will:
- Interview clients requesting funds and advise them of the amounts available.
- Assist with the completion of forms.
- Take the necessary steps to properly identify policyholders.
- Maintain client retention initiative to dissuade customers from surrendering policy as well as persuade them to purchase additional coverage where the client has minimal coverage.
- Introduce clients to other products offered within the group.
- Process clients’ queries appropriately through other units or departments as required; follow-up to ensure completion.
- Log detailed summary of all interactions with clients on the ECRIS Service Centre portal including complaints.
- Provide information to EBA, EBD and IL clients on claim status, policy status, loans, dividend and fund balances.
- Clarify policy benefits.
- Advise clients of the associated transaction fees for the associated disbursement.
- Review and record all health claims received and submit the original to the Claims Department.
- Input data to generate policy benefit cheques for walk-in clients and transactions initiated in branches and received by mail.
- Obtain and enter on the system, updated biographic information for all clients interviewed. KYC requirements must be satisfied for all clients.
- Process all policy changes via the workforce management system (P360) and provide feedback to internal/external clients as appropriate on an on-going basis.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
- ACS designation.
- Two (2) years’ working experience within the Insurance industry.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Excellent attitude to client service and teamwork.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrable persuasiveness, empathy and tact.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including word processing and spreadsheet application.
