Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Corporate Banking team in the capacity of:
Client Service Representative –
Corporate Banking
Retain and continuously improve relationships with Corporate Banking clients, thus contributing to the strategic priorities of improved client experience and revenue growth.
Provide support for Relationship Managers (RMs) to enable the administrative, planning and delivery of solutions for client and prospect needs.
Location: Kingston
As a Client Service Representative – Corporate Banking, you will:
- Participate in aspects of portfolio management including, but not limited to opening and closing accounts.
- Deliver superior client experience when working through transactions banking requests/ problems with clients by consistently providing effective responses or appropriate solutions.
- Provide support to Relationship Managers with retention and client acquisition activities.
- Act as a contact for new and existing client’s non-lending needs, coordinating sales and fulfilment with product and services specialists.
- Demonstrate commitment to cross sell group-wide services and expertise through referrals.
- Maintain client data (closure, name addition, financial and non-financial etc.).
- Responsible for accurate processing for all customer transactions. e.g., loan payments, stop payments, account transfers etc.
- Arrange processing of wires/ RTGS by branch / transactions.
- Exercise due diligence in following procedures and policies relative to fraud prevention, custody account opening, anti-money laundering, FATCA etc as outlined in banks guidelines.
- Provide information for auditor’s report in a timely manner to Centralized Operations unit for processing.
- Ensures compliance with routine bank operation, waivers, amendments to loans, maintenance of accounts, standing orders, salaries, booking of sales and purchases with traders, sundry losses and wire transfers.
- Builds and maintains a network of Sagicor contacts relevant to effective execution of the role and client servicing.
- Keeps abreast of industry-related information and leverages the information to opportunity spot deliver value-add content for client.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- BSc in Finance, Business Administration, Banking or Supervisory Management from a recognized institution would be an asset.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Financial Institution.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Sales and service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.
- Ability to cross sell and negotiate successfully with customer.
- Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skill.
