Reporting to: Operations & Maintenance Manager  

Location: Kingston Jamaica 

About the role:

The Civils Engineer – Supervisor will manage the delivery of civil works within fiber and utility projects. This role involves supervising field teams, coordinating resources, managing stock, ensuring quality compliance, and overseeing project completion through client handover

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee civil engineering activities from assignment of work packages through to client handover.
• Supervise excavation, ducting, reinstatement, and associated civils works.
• Manage materials and stock allocation to field crews.
• Ensure jobs are completed to specification, on time, and within budget.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with design standards and client requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate job completion records and reports.
• Lead by example in enforcing safety standards and environmental practices

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated experience supervising civil works projects (telecoms, utilities, or infrastructure preferred).
• Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with reinstatement standards and QA/QC processes.
• Full, clean driver’s license.
• Police clearance certificate required prior to start.
• Must successfully pass a 7-panel drug test on hiring.
