We're seeking an experienced Chief of Engineering & Maintenance to lead our Engineering & Maintenance team and drive performance excellence in our food manufacturing facility.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Chief of Engineering & Maintenance will develop and manage a planned and preventative maintenance system to improve Production OEE and cost efficiencies. You'll lead a team of engineers and technicians, oversee maintenance services, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage the engineering team
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance of all assets
- Manage maintenance services and support for repairs and efficient operation of
equipment, air compressors, vacuum pumps, electrical sprinklers and alarm systems,
security systems including cameras etc.
- Drive achievement of Key KPIs (MTBF, MTTR)
- Identify and eliminate long-term chronic issues
- Develop systems to improve asset reliability
- Provide top-level analysis on operations affecting line performance
- Manage capital expenditure projects
- Serve as a subject matter expert for risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring compliance and safety across all equipment and manufacturing assets
- Champion and direct continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean manufacturing, recycling, and Quick Change Over, to drive efficiency and excellence
