The Channel Manager- Auto Refinish is directly responsible for managing Strategic Route to Market and Auto Refinish Accounts of Ansa Coatings Ltd with the objective of driving the attainment and surpassing pre-determined sales targets with management objectives and utilizing management tools.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to develop and refine long- and medium-term plans for the Company/Brand.
  • Develop annual and monthly Sales and Marketing Plans.
  • Ensure sales and marketing budgets, as well as gross profit/margin targets, are achieved in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Protect and grow the Automotive Refinish brand equity in target market segments.
  • Conceptualize, present, and implement marketing strategies to strengthen local and export market presence.
  • Provide analytical, fact-based insights on Key Accounts to support marketing and business planning.

Sales, Marketing & Customer Management

  • Supervise Sales Representatives and the Technical Manager, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Co-ordinate marketing and promotional activities for strategic accounts.
  • Ensure customer service delivery and satisfaction across all key accounts.
  • Liaise with external customers, contractors, and suppliers as required.

Operations & Department Management

  • Efficiently manage the operations of the assigned unit.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the department, including coordination of all activities and Auto Refinish Training Seminars
  • Liaise with Operations, Export, Technical, and Logistics teams to ensure adequate stock, production levels, and quality control.
  • Work with Fulfilment, Logistics and relevant Managers to maintain proper inventory levels and stock distribution
  • Promote safety awareness and foster a strong safety culture within the company

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Manage accounts receivable days to ensure timely payment collection and minimize overdue accounts. >80% of customers under 60 days.

Performance Management & Compliance

  • Set performance standards and KPIs for direct reports.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments.

Other

  • Ensure compliance with ANSA Mc AL company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Managing Director, Regional Sales Manager, or other members of the Senior Executive Team

Job Qualifications

  • Degree and major if applicable in Business Marketing or Marketing *or an equivalent combination of academic and work experience
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar management and marketing environment.
  • Exposure to Auto Refinish coating industry would be an asset.
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills / analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Good execution and evaluation skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
