Trinidad Offshore Fabricators Unlimited is seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of supervising inspection teams. You will be responsible for overseeing welding inspections in accordance with project specifications and quality standards within the energy and oil & gas sector.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct welding inspections as per project and code requirements.
• Review and interpret structural and piping isometric drawings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Provide leadership to inspection teams, offering technical guidance and mentorship.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of junior inspectors and quality control personnel.
• Prepare and submit accurate inspection documentation and reports.

✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certificate
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CWI in the energy or oil & gas industry
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a fabrication or construction environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong time management and organizational discipline
• Ability to read and interpret Structural and Piping Isometric Drawings
• Sound working knowledge of:
• API 1104
• ASME B31.3
• AWS D1.1
• ASME Section IX
