We’re seeking a hands-on Care Team Attendant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting the Housekeeping function within our organisation.

Role Overview:

Responsible for the cleanliness of floors and assigned areas within rooms, buildings and public spaces or any other designated area in the Resort. Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and Housekeeping Supervisors. Create an Exceptional Memorable Experience (EME) for each and every guest while interacting on a daily basis.

 

Main Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, steam, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff various floor, wall and ceiling surfaces (tile, vinyl, hardwood, concrete, carpet).
  • Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, steamers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.
  • Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks according to schedule.
  • Apply floor finishes and sealants as needed.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues.
  • Follow safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Respond promptly to spills and emergency cleaning situations.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean work area.
  • The ability to use service technology (ALICE) to review and report all work schedules and tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Read and understand all instructions, complications and hazards of chemicals used.
  • Must be in good physical condition.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to walk, stretch, push, and bend. 
  • Must be able to lift more than fifty (50) lbs.
  • Must be able to work around dust, fumes and chemicals


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in floor care or custodial services would be an asset
  • Hospitality experience an asset
