Plant Maintenance Assistant

The Plant Maintenance Assistant will work to maintain the smooth running of the Lime Plant.

Objetive

Under the direction of the Control Room Operator, Plant Maintenance Assistant will work alongside the Production & Quality Coordinator and the Operations Manager to maintain the smooth running of the Lime Plant.

Responsibilities

• Execute the inspections and autonomous maintenance.
• Report the problems found in the Inspection route of autonomous maintenance.
• Execute simple maintenance tasks such as: lubrication, small adjustments to equipment, cover installation, Housekeeping etc.
• Execute the tasks requested by the control room operator and to keep the operational conditions stable.
• Keep the machinery clean and in good condition of operation.
• Responsible for the lockout/tag out procedures of all equipment.
• Generate the required operational reports on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Report to the control room any condition(s) of risk or any unsafe behavior(s).
• Is responsible to keep in good condition his tools and instruments.
• Work in the continuous improvement, giving and executing ideas to improve machineries and process.
• To undertake additional activities as requested by the Production and Quality Coordinator. 

Required Education & Skills:

• Certifications or Technical Studies in Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Good communication skill.
• Attention to detail.
• Time management.
• Teamwork. 

Work experience 

• At least one year of work in the same cement or manufacturing industry in a similar position.
• Knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanic
