Accountability: | Reports to the Managing Director |
Nature & Scope: | Responsible for the planning and leadership of the daily operations of Clarence Thomas Limited. Home Center in an ongoing effort to increase store sales and profitability. Ensures management of staff assigned the Store, namely, Floor, Lumberyard, Warehouse, Purchasing and Special Orders Managers and their staff of Sales Associates. Oversees the daily workflow of the store. Schedules and assigns staff to ensure efficient operations and optimal customer experience. Responsibilities include assistance with recruitment and training of staff and conducting of performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. In addition, the Retail Hardware Store Manager handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with policy. |
