Job Functions

• Apply the process of washing and disinfecting workstations.
• Apply the handwashing procedure before starting work.
• Support the kitchen assistant in training and development.
• Support in the correct ordering and cleaning of vegetables, control the rotation of the produce.
• Ensure the operational compliance of the department and the hotel.
• Attend and participate daily in the briefings of your shift.
• Assist the Chef de Partie and support in special events and in all activities related to the department.
• Work in the most hygienic way possible ensuring compliance with Distinctive H.
• Handling of PEPS and regulations of Distinctive H.
• Perform the cleaning of the work area and the kitchen in general.
• Preparation of food with the highest quality, flavor, texture, following the technical sheets.
• Report to the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef at the end of shift to check if there are any changes.
• Report any issues and malfunctions within your work area.
• Follow the production list according to the percentage of occupation, to not have an excess of prepared foods.
• Be imaginative, creative, taste and the ability to present and decorate salads.
• Verify that the products are covered and dated for identification and proper rotation.
