The Business Operations Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Cayman, BVI, and Bahamas Cluster. Support of the firm’s workflow processes.

KPMG in Caricom is seeking to hire a talented, highly motivated Business Operations Administrator to support its Cayman, BVI, and Bahamas Cluster.

Key Responsibilities:

Engagement & Client Onboarding

  • Assist with engagement onboarding across Cayman, BVI, and Bahamas
  • Update and maintain the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Support managers, directors, and partners with completing CRM screens
  • Roll forward CRM opportunities as required
  • Prepare and roll forward client and engagement documentation
  • Complete Star Code setups and roll-forwards for engagement teams

Operational & Regulatory Support

  • Maintain timely system updates to support task completion
  • File and verify documents submitted to regulators, ensuring compliance
  • Coordinate the preparation of Board Packs

Audit & Engagement File Management

  • Arrange close-out of online audit files in accordance with KPMG policies and timelines
  • Suspend engagement codes as requested

Document Preparation & Administrative Support

  • Prepare, edit, format, and proofread correspondence, presentations, and reports
  • Draft engagement letters, audit opinions, representation letters, consent letters, and general correspondence
  • Perform administrative tasks including scanning, printing, filing, binding, and document control
  • Support due diligence process requests

Team & Project Support

  • Assist the Operations Director with ad-hoc projects and Cluster operational initiatives

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional services or audit environment (preferred)

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • High degree of integrity when handling confidential information
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
