Grows the portfolio of business clients by focusing on establishing new relationships and cross-selling to current accountholders.
Core Functions:
Grows the portfolio of business clients by focusing on establishing new relationships and cross-selling to current accountholders.
Follows the established NCB sales process for engaging, exploring, aligning and presenting solutions to prospective/new and existing business clients.
Receives and actions referrals/leads for products/services that business clients may be offered, as per the established NCB sales process.
Explains the product features, terms and conditions of relevant banking products and services to prospective/new and existing business clients.
Analyses the credit worthiness and the financial health of potential business borrowers, where required.
Submits business client applications for banking products and services to the relevant branch/unit(s) responsible for processing and/or decisioning.
Submits and follows up with the relevant units for decisioning/disbursement of lending proposals in accordance with credit risk and collateral requirements, where required.
Ensures requirements for documentation to maintain banking products/services provided to business clients are met, in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Supports the Collections team in minimizing the level of credit delinquency and the Compliance team in minimizing non-AML compliant status within the SME segment, where required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or any other related discipline.
Three (3) years’ work experience in investment advisory/portfolio management at a financial institution would be preferred.
