Brand Manager (FMCG)

A leading distributor in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector is seeking a results-driven and innovative Brand Manager to champion assigned brands and ensure maximized distribution and promotion in both local and export markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual brand plans, including budgets and visuals, tracking and adjusting strategies quarterly.

  • Evaluate product performance to drive profitability and revenue growth.

  • Conduct market research to assess competitive products, pricing, and promotional activity.

  • Manage all aspects of new product launches, ensuring quality, visibility, placement, promotions, and public relations.

  • Oversee marketing activities (ATL and BTL) and liaise with agencies on campaigns, social media, and special events.

  • Collaborate with production, accounts, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations, timely supplier payments, and enhanced shelf presence.

  • Assist in preparing annual sales budgets and forecasting stock requirements.

  • Lead training sessions, coordinate digital marketing projects, and manage events and promotional exercises.

  • Monitor and report on budget status, campaign performance, and brand sales growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related discipline (Master’s degree an asset).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in local trade, marketing, or distribution, preferably in FMCG.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Proven ability to innovate, influence change, and deliver results.
