Position Overview
F.O.J Museum and Event Center is seeking a friendly, energetic and skilled Coffee Barista to join our team. The barista will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality authentic Blue Mountain coffee beverages while providing excellent customer service to guests. The successful candidate will play an important role in creating a welcoming café experience and helping showcase Jamaican coffee culture through expertly prepared beverages.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages
Operate espresso machines and other coffee equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with guests
Take customer orders and handle payments when required
Ensure beverages are prepared consistently and presented well
Assist in maintaining coffee supplies and inventory
Support café operations during busy periods and events
Requirements / Qualifications
Previous experience as a barista, café attendant or in a similar hospitality role is an asset
Knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-based drinks
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Friendly personality and professional attitude
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Interest in building a long-term career relationship with the company
