BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (MANAGED IT SERVICES)

Department: Sales and Business Development

Reports To: Director of Sales

Type: Full-time

Industry: Information Technology

Salary: $10,000-$15,000 monthly with target based incentives

Location: Hybrid (Trinidad and Tobago)


Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Officer to lead the expansion of our managed IT services division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the IT industry, and a proven track record of driving business growth. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand our managed IT services customer base.
Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
Sales Execution: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including conducting presentations, negotiations, and contract management.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create effective sales and promotional materials. Coordinate with the IT support team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.

What We Expect From You:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field will be a strong asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the IT services industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of managed IT services and technology solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to travel to The United States of America, The Caribbean and South America without travel restrictions.
