The Bartender will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional service at the bar.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to the recipe specifications, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, while doing so in a prompt and friendly manner.
Ensure the quality and consistency of all beverages served, including cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks, by monitoring preparation techniques, presentation standards, and taste profiles.
Interact with customers in a positive and engaging manner, providing recommendations, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste in accordance with health and safety standards.
Adhere to responsible alcohol service practices, including verifying the legal drinking age of customers and refusing service to intoxicated individuals.
Prepare garnishes, mixers, and other ingredients for drinks, ensuring accuracy and consistency in recipes and presentation.
Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit transactions.
Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, and glassware, and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management.
Conduct regular stock counts as required
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement promotional activities, themed events, and drink specials to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
Cross-train as a Floor Staff team member and be available to fill in that role if required by the business.
Key Attributes
Previous experience as a bartender in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring beer, and serving wine.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing drinks, handling cash, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the needs of the business.
