Baker
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
The Baker is responsible is to meet the day's production goals for baked goods. This includes preparing the doughs, letting them rise, shaping them, proofing them, and finally baking and cooling them. Bakers prepare or thaw their doughs, then shape and fill them as needed in the Bakery / Rotisserie Department.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, proof, bake, and cool a variety of baked goods to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain consistent product quality by checking raw materials, monitoring expiry dates, and following food safety standards (HACCP).
- Ensure bakery displays are fully stocked and visually appealing throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including equipment, utensils, and production areas.
- Provide excellent customer service and support inventory control by reporting stock levels, completing required production records, and assisting with stock-taking.
- Adheres to all company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 5 C.X.C/G.C.E subjects including Mathematics and English.
- Minimum 2 Years’ experience in related field
- Must be personable, presentable and articulate.
- Must have experience as a Baker.
- Good time management skill
