Warehouse Operations Coordinator

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will ensure the effective, efficient and optimal performance of all warehouse line staff in carrying out various warehouse processes, tasks and procedures.

Key Skillsets:

• Excellent people management skills
• Knowledgeable about warehouse management including proper storage, inventory management and RMS systems
• Integrity driven
• Keen attention to details
• Able to stand for extended periods or perform physical labor alongside team

Key Functions:

• Manage all Units that consists of the Warehouse Department
• Supervise and delegate duties such as assigning loading vehicles, scheduling priority stores, plotting delivery routes schedule etc.
• Assigning Driver Assistants to respective delivery drivers for customer delivery
• Manage and govern the Warehouse Team in all warehouse operations including proper storage practices, inventory rotation best practices, proper loading and off-loading execution, machinery handling, warehouse upkeep
• Perform day-to-day walk-throughs/inspection to monitor the activities of the warehouse in efforts to prevent idle time, lagging time, slack-offs, sub-standard work etc.
• Designate ‘Isle monitors’ for specific warehouse areas for proper streamlining activities
• Prepare daily reports to the Managing Director regarding pertinent warehouse operations activities.

Job Specification and Qualification:

• Experience as an effective warehouse/production/factory Supervisor
• A certificate in supervisory management or a degree in Logistics and supply Chain Management would be an asset

• Has experience in the retail, distribution, manufacturing, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
