Location: St. Lucia

As owners and operators of automotive dealerships in Dominica and St. Marten/ Sint Maarten, Trading International Group is expanding its business, and we are looking for a strategic Automotive Operations Manager to join our executive team.

This is a high-impact role designed for a leader with extensive automotive dealership experience, particularly in sales and operations. You will be instrumental in driving growth, mentoring our management team, and shaping the future of automotive within our Group.

You will be expected to:

 Focus on building a stronger team:

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to general managers and senior managers, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Mentor and coach the management teams to enhance their leadership, strategic, and operational capabilities.
• Collaborate in the implementation of development programs to build a strong leadership pipeline.

Drive growth and expansion:

• Leverage your extensive industry knowledge to develop and execute strategies for increasing market share and revenue.
• Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, including new markets and partnerships.
• Drive customer acquisition and business development initiatives.

Demonstrate KAIZEN

• Drive a culture of learning through errors and continuous improvement.
• Improve operational efficiency and process optimization across all automotive operations to reduce costs and improve performance.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices to maintain high-quality standards and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Financial & Strategic Management:

• Collaborate with the CFO and GMs to develop, manage, and monitor budgets, ensuring profitability and financial discipline.
• Analyze key performance indicators to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement.

 Qualifications and Experience (MUST-HAVES):

• Extensive and diverse experience in the automotive industry is non-negotiable.
• A proven track record in multiple functional areas, with a strong preference for experience in Sales and Operations.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with responsibility for mentoring managers and influencing business strategy.
• A verifiable history of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and achieving financial targets.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
