Reports To: Assistant Manager, Administration Audit
Job Summary: To conduct audits, special reviews and investigations as assigned for the Administration Audit Department with the aim of assessing viability of internal controls and compliance with applicable policies, procedures, statutory and regulatory requirements.
Primary Accountabilities
1. Plan or assist in planning the scope of audits as per the annual audit plan as assigned by the Assistant Manager
2. Prepare audit programmes
3. Perform all audit steps in a professional manner and as outlined in designed audit programmes which require:
· Examination of Companies’ records to verify authenticity and accuracy
· Communication with business units/line Managers to obtain explanations and data to form objective opinions about the adequacy of the system of internal controls
· Review of systems and procedures to determine compliance
· Preparation of working papers to document the findings including but not limited to the preparation of process system notes using narrative techniques, audit tests, etc.
· Identification and documentation of internal control weaknesses, risk exposures or other unsatisfactory conditions.
· Preparation of draft audit reports for review by Senior Audit Assistant/Assistant Audit Manager/Team Leader
4. Execute follow up procedures to confirm the implementation of management responses to previous audit observations
5. Review Junior Audit Assistants audit working papers for sufficiency of scope and accuracy
6. Review and submit audit files for own job assignments to Senior Audit Assistant/Assistant Manager/Team Leader for final review upon request
7. Plan, execute and report on the annual cash count schedule
8. Assist in planning the annual inventory count attendance, assist in managing the internal audit review of the inventory count process and report on findings
9. Perform or assist in performing special investigations
10. Review and report on fraudulent certificate investigations
11. Assist in the resolution of queries
12. Perform audit procedures necessary to compile reports due to CBTT or any other requested reports
13. Review, plan and execute audit/contest reviews, investigations, etc. using Teammate Analytics.
Secondary Accountabilities
1. Conduct or assist in conducting any training required of the Internal Audit Unit
2. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Leader/ Assistant Audit Manager or Senior Audit Assistant

Education
· Pursing at least Level 2 or 3 ACCA or any equivalent professional qualification

Experience
Minimum of 2 -4 years in an Auditing environment
