THIS POSITION IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE IN POSSESSION OF VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY. MUST BE RESIDENT IN THE COUNTRY AT THE PRESENT TIME. 

 

POSITION: ATTORNEY-AT-LAW 

SALARY: Negotiable, based on the candidate's combination of qualifications and experience. 

  

Role Description

Our client, a well established law firm located in Port of Spain is seeking an Attorney-at-Law for a full-time and on-site position in the
Conveyancing /Commercial Departments at our Port of Spain office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal services related to
corporate /commercial law and conveyancing. Tasks include drafting legal documents, assisting clients with commercial negotiations, preparing corporate
filings, commercial agreements and advising clients on matters relating to both conveyancing and commercial law.
The successful candidate will work directly with Partners in both the Conveyancing and Commercial Departments.

 

 

Qualifications

LL.B and L.E.C or Post Graduate Diploma from an accredited law school.

At least 6 years post-qualification experience in conveyancing and
commercial/corporate law in Trinidad and Tobago.

Excellent drafting, legal writing, analytical, and negotiating skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Admitted to practice law in Trinidad and Tobago and in possession of a valid
practising certificate.
