KPMG in Caricom is seeking to hire talented, highly motivated Associate - Financial Services - Technology Consulting. As an Associate in KPMG’s Financial Services Sector, you will support clients across CARICOM in leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
Technology Advisory & Implementation:
• Assist in designing and implementing technology strategies for banks, insurers, and other financial institutions.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, and data analytics.
Regulatory & Compliance Alignment:
• Ensure technology solutions meet regulatory requirements (AML, FATCA, GDPR, local compliance).
• Advise on cybersecurity frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
Internal Risk & Compliance:
• Adhere to KPMG’s internal risk management and quality standards across all engagements.
• Maintain compliance with firm methodologies and client confidentiality protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with client teams and internal specialists to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on technology best practices.
Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technology consulting or financial services IT projects.
• Knowledge of banking systems, fintech solutions, and regulatory technology (RegTech).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and data analytics tools.
Skills and Competencies
• Experience with digital banking, payments modernization, or core system upgrades.
• Certifications such as AWS, Azure, CISSP, or ITIL are an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and benefits are very competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
