Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Finance

Bioprist Group Jamaica, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Finance to join our senior management team.

This role is ideal for an ACCA-qualified finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and extensive experience in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities in alignment with business objectives.

• Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.

• Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making.

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.

• Oversee tax, audit, and risk management functions.

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial governance frameworks.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams.

• Support business expansion initiatives, including investments, acquisitions, and due diligence activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (MBA an asset).

• ACCA qualification is mandatory.

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations.

• Proven experience in strategic financial management and team leadership.

• Proficiency in ERP and financial reporting systems.
