Assistant Information Technology Manager

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Management team as Assistant Information Technology Manager; the successful candidate should be innovative, performance-driven and have a record of achievement in effective leadership in order to meet the objectives of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Information Technology Manager in planning, overseeing and managing the company’s Information Technology infrastructure.
• Create dashboards and reports that communicate insights to stakeholders using business intelligence tools.
• Work closely with senior managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, to deliver actionable insights to business performance.
• Determine the Information Technology needs of the company and implement best fit technology solutions to fulfill the organization’s information systems requirement.
• Supervision of a team, ability to take on challenges and motivate others to ensure team success.

Qualifications, Experience and Key Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum three years’ experience in a supervisory position
• At least three years experience as a Data Analyst and proficiency with business intelligence tools.
• Data analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization.
• Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies.
• Excellent problem solving, logical thinking skills to isolate and identify potential issues in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to deliver IT projects on time, within budget and of excellent quality.
• Good project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to lead and motivate others.
