Position Summary

The Assistant Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager supports the Manager in overseeing all food and beverage operations across all locations. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, maintains high service standards, supervises staff, and assists in implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. The Assistant F&B Manager collaborates with Head Chefs, management teams, marketing, customer service, and other departments to deliver exceptional client experiences.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Assist the F&B Manager in managing daily operations across all Casinos.
  • Ensure that service standards, food preparation, and beverage operations meet established SOPs.
  • Step in to manage operations in the absence of the F&B Manager.
  • Collaborate with Head Chefs and other department heads to ensure smooth coordination.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

  • Supervise and support F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and other service personnel.
  • Assist in staff training, mentoring, and coaching to ensure high performance and service excellence.
  • Promote a positive, customer-focused work culture.
  • Conduct regular performance feedback sessions and support staff development plans.

Customer Service & Guest Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly address complaints or concerns.
  • Work with the F&B Manager and Marketing team to execute promotions, events, and service initiatives.
  • Support menu updates and beverage innovations to enhance the customer experience.

Inventory & Procurement Support

  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and storage.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to the F&B Manager.
  • Support cost control measures and waste reduction initiatives.

Financial & Reporting Support

  • Assist in tracking Bar and Kitchen costs, and inventory usage.
  • Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
  • Provide operational and financial reports as required by the F&B Manager.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.
  • Maintain quality assurance through regular checks of food, beverage, and service standards.
  • Enforce F&B policies, SOPs, and service standards among staff.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Management, Marketing, Customer Service, and Head Chefs to enhance operational alignment.
  • Support the planning and execution of events and promotions requiring F&B services.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in a casino, hotel, or large hospitality environment.
  • Experience supervising staff and managing multi-outlet operations.
  • Knowledge of culinary trends, food safety regulations, and POS systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
